Here at PS.50Q, we take technology very seriously. We learn about computer components and how they work, keyboarding and software.  We also focus on Computer Science.  The CS4All curriculum teaches all about computers through time, as well as, important aspects of the Engineering Process and coding.  Some of the things we work on in Technology Class are: Microsoft Word & PowerPoint, doing research on the internet using Google Chrome, how to code and control our very own robotic mice, how to code using Blockly (Code.org and Scratch.mit.edu) All my classes have access to my website: www.freedmantechnology.com.  Here I post all lessons and classwork by grade.  There are important links to videos and worksheets.  Please see me or email me for an access code.

We also have access to several learning programs, some are free and some are not. For subscription information, please see your teacher or stop by the lab.   All grades learn the same information according to their level.  I give challenges, as well as, extra help to those who need it and ask.  No one is left out!

Please see our Quick Links page to access some free websites and other programs that we have subscriptions for.  All students will need to submit a Media/Internet access permission form.

Should you have any questions, please go to the Contacts page and send me an email.

STUDENT INTERNET USE and ACCESS PERMISSION FORM
